Born in London and growing up in Oxfordshire, Jazmine Flowers is a talented upcoming artist who has been performing covers and originals since the age of 12. She grew up surrounded by a range of genres and was inspired by artists such as Michael Jackson, Bob Marley and Simon and Garfunkel. More recently, influences on her own work include Sevdaliza, Banks and Rihanna.

Jazmine has performed at gigs, festivals and private events in and around Oxfordshire and London as well as abroad in Europe.. It was at her very first open mic where award winning songwriter and producer, Kenny Young scouted her and invited her to record in Lazy Moon Studios, Brailes, singing vocals for the title track ‘Ocean’ for Young’s new album “Plastic Oceans”. The album also features Beyoncé, Ed Sheeran and Coldplay and is to be released by Universal Records in 2018. She also performed vocals on three re-workings of Prince’s ‘When Doves Cry’ for a tribute EP, released by APE Vision in April 2018.

Whilst working on the album and EP, Jazmine performed at the Musée de l’Homme, Paris for the album pre-release. Following this, she was invited to record vocals in one of Europe’s biggest recording studio facilities, Gam and La Chapelle Studios, Belgium, in collaboration with Stereomoon.

Jazmine aspires to write and produce music of an alternative, contemporary RnB style following in the footsteps of her musical inspirations. She hopes that people can enjoy and appreciate her music as well as relate to her lyrics and understand that music doesn’t need to fit in to any kind of box.
